The Victoria, Heywood and Fraser MA Scholarship scheme is intended to assist students with the costs of studying for the MA Classics and Ancient History. One or more scholarships with a total value of up to £6,000 are available (issued as a reduction in your tuition fees) for offer-holders classified as ‘home’ students for tuition fee purposes.
Essential criteria are criteria you must meet to be considered for this scheme. Students who do not meet this criteria will not be considered for this award. The essential criteria for this scheme are as follows:

To apply for a scholarship please submit a statement of your financial circumstances, financial barriers to education encountered, and how the grant would enable you to undertake postgraduate study. The statement should be no more than 500 words long.
Submit your statement to masalcfunding@manchester.ac.uk. You must include your University ID number.
We will consider your financial circumstances and financial barriers faced in accessing education when selecting the recipients.
Students will be prioritised based on academic merit.
Your course offer and this scheme
Receipt of this award is subject to you meeting you course offer commitments and registering at the University of Manchester in the year of entry specified in the application form.
